The Philips SongBird is an application that allows you to manage the Phlips Go Gear devices. It allows you to transfer multimedia files and created playlists. You can't install it on your device since it's working only on Windows operating systems.
Access the link above and wait a few seconds then the download will start. Install it, connect the device to PC and then you can transfer the files and create playlists.
Is Philips Songbird still available? My SA3MUS08 lost (grayed out) the equalizer capability. I probably need to reinstall its firmware, which I downloaded as a zip of an IMG file; is there an alternative way to do this?
In case you require additional information about SA3MUS08 or its firmware, I recommend contacting the manufacturer directly using one of the options provided on the product's support page.
The first time you start Songbird, you will be asked to Import Media:
Specify the path where your music is located on the disc and then start SongBird. You will find all the music files under the Library menu on the left tree.
Additionally, start SongBird and go to File > Import Media. Repeat the procedure of adding additional folders with content and you'll see them into the application.
I need the user manual
Error codes: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap, sec_error_expired_issuer_certificate.
OS: windows 7 pro. PC: Acer Aspire 5715z.
The error messages indicate an issue with security certificates. Try updating your security certificates and see if that resolves the issue.
How to check it for viruses and not get Trojan.killfile?
I've the same question:
At the virus check of the download and also at VirusTotal 1 of 74 scanners (VBA32) detected the "Trojan.killfile". The other 73 sayd it is clean.
This virus should delete user and operating system data.
Has somebody experienced problems after downloading and installing this exe?

There is no download on the official website, which means you have to download it through the Software Informer download page: http://philips-songbird.software.informer.com/download/#downloading

As far as I can see, even though Phillips Songbird is no longer available on its official website, it can still be downloaded from its download page on Software Informer.
